17" long, sitting close to the neck, this keshi pearl necklace in a silvery blue carries a little sterling silver dragonfly with an orange sodalite teardrop dangling from the end of the pendant. Sodalite is a deep blue mineral named after its sodium content. This special variety with its calcite inclusions, usually white, is decorated with iron, presenting a beautiful rosey orange glow. This stone was first discovered in Greenland in 1811 and this orange variety is now being mined in Africa. Sodalite is said to help bring rational thinking, inner peace, and a calming energy to its wearer.
The pearls are separated by little iolite beads with flashes of an intense blue peeking from between the 'cornflake pearls'.
A simple, yet elegant necklace that will be just as good of an evening as it is in the daytime, to the office. Easy to wear and light, it will make you feel elegant and relaxed, effortlessly.
