- Beadwork and Soutache
This vibrant pendant was inspired by a Kandinsky print hanging on my walls. I love the geometric shapes morphing into one another seamlessly, yet standing apart from the rest of the piece. Colourful, bright and big, 5.2" x 4" this one is a knockout. The elements are a howlite doughnut, rose quartz, Swarovski crystals and Japanese seed beads. The pendant is padded out with felt and covered over with Ultra Suede.
It is hung on an acrylic large-link chain which can easily be shortened to bring the pendant closer to the neckline with no trouble. A trigger clasp, with links that allow a lengthening of the chain up to an inch, holds the piece together securely.
