Hello there, and thank you for stopping by!
My name is Neena Shilvock and I live in Warwickshire, UK, with my lovely husband Michael and our rather opinionated cat, Wilfred. By day, I’m an obstetrician and gynaecologist — but when the gloves come off, I transform into a jewellery designer, obsessively creating colourful, quirky statement pieces that are as unique as the women who wear them.
Caprilicious Jewellery is my labour of love. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a full-blown passion (or addiction, depending on who you ask — probably Michael!). He’s wonderfully supportive and even doubles as my logistics man, carefully packing and posting your jewellery to you.
I have what I like to call a happy schizophrenic existence — slipping (mostly) seamlessly between medicine and beads. Compliments absolutely float my boat, and I’m proud to say Caprilicious pieces often attract them in abundance. Strong, creative women are my muses. They understand the appeal of combining raw silk with gemstones, wood with silver, and the magic of a glinting druzy or a raw nugget. These are the women who inspire Caprilicious, and many of them have become cherished friends along the way. Some I’ve met in far-flung places, and others I’ve welcomed into my home. That’s the joy of this journey.
Caprilicious has been shown in group and solo exhibitions in the UK and India, and my work now travels around the world — from Mumbai to Martinique and everywhere in between.

You’ll find that Caprilicious is a bit of a shape-shifter — just like the women who wear it. Welcome to Caprilicious Jewellery
Caprilicious Jewellery is a contemporary statement jewellery and lifestyle brand I launched in 2011 — all thanks to a spark ignited by a dear friend who made me a necklace (that’s me wearing it on my arm in the picture!). I loved it so much, I booked myself onto a course… and the rest, as they say, is history.
I design for women who love to be noticed — women with style, individuality, a twinkle in their eye, and a zest for life. My pieces are bold, colourful, playful, and full of personality — just like the Caprilicious woman.
As a small business, I have the pleasure of offering you something personal and bespoke. Everything you see here is made entirely by me — no factories, no outsourcing. I design, catalogue, photograph, upload, package, and ship each piece myself from my studio in Warwickshire. It’s a one-woman show, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
