The pendant is a slice of a conch shell I acquired on my travels. I wrapped it in yards of silver plated tarnish proof wire, with many curlicues and little flourishes and hung it on a necklace of turquoise nuggets, with bone beads, Nepalese inlaid brass beads and hand carved bone lotus beads in two strands with a toggle clasp to finish it. The necklace is 22" long, and one of a kind - the pendant was made at Caprilicious, and very unlikely to be repeated - I may never find another slice of conch again. An interesting piece of jewellery for an interesting woman!
