Moonshine
This piece is unapologetically sumptuous.
At the centre sits a peach-dyed druzy, softly crystalline and glowing like a fragment of late afternoon light. It is framed by intricate bead embroidery in muted gold seed beads, stitched one by one in concentric layers that build texture, depth and structure. This isn’t a quick surround. It’s architecture in miniature.
Flat peach moonstone beads are scattered through the goldwork, adding warmth and a gentle luminosity. They soften the composition without diluting its richness. And from the base hangs a peach-cream baroque pearl, about a centimetre long, organic and slightly irregular, giving the pendant movement and that unmistakable whisper of luxury.
The back is finished in ultrasuede so it feels smooth and comfortable against the skin. The pendant is suspended from a strand of creamy baroque pearls, each separated by tiny seed pearls for cohesion and balance. It fastens with a rose gold-tone lobster clasp studded with micro pavé diamanté, the only element I did not handcraft.
Everything else, from the bead embroidery to the construction of the necklace, has been made entirely by me. Every bead stitched, every decision considered. This is not assembled jewellery. It is built.
It is a one-off piece with presence. Rich, tactile, quietly powerful.
