Tapestry
A 2.5" wide bracelet made of paisley velvet, covered with bead embroidery. It is lined by butter-soft maroon Italian leather, and a central aluminium form holds the fully adjustable cuff in shape. The central triangular turquoise focal element has been securely sewn on with a bezel of blue and gold beads imported from Japan and the Czech Republic. Japanese beading techniques have been used throughout this piece.
The beads have been embroidered one by one (no glue in this bracelet) and reinforced so that you will never lose one. The thread used is Fireline, which is micro-fused braided nylon which can carry a weight of up to 6lbs, so you can see that the piece is robustly created.
Treat yourself to this bracelet - it took so much work that I won't be making too many in a hurry, and it is very attractive.
